QLD:Policeman hospitalised after Valley blue
The Queensland opposition says an attack on a police officer this morning highlights
the need for mandatory jail for all serious assaults on police .. ambulance and fire officers.
The officer was hospitalised following an alleged assault in Brisbane's party district.
The officer was allegedly jumped on and punched as he tried to intervene in an altercation
