A teenager Tuesday admitted his role in a stabbing at Mohawk Mall Cinemas that left a patron with a puncture wound in the back.
Duane E. Torres, 18, 1513 Van Vranken Ave., waived indictment and pleaded guilty in county court to first-degree reckless endangerment.
According to court and police information, Torres on April 1 stabbed 20-year-old Sean T. Askew in the back just as the movie "White Men Can't Jump" had begun.
Askew had just been in an argument outside the theater with five people before the stabbing.
